An Empirical Study On The Development Of China 's Network Democracy

The Internet as a way of communication is the most profound change in the history of mankind since the ancient times. It promotes human accessing to the information society and affects all aspects of human, including politics, economy, culture, society and ideology. It also subverts the traditional way of social interaction and action. The impacts of the internet on the development of social democratic politics is especially far-reaching. Network democracy is not the achievement from the development of traditional media and democratic. Network democracy as a new way of direct participation of political. This paper selects three typical cases of network democracy to analyze the contribution and the shortcomings of network democracy to traditional democratic political development under the current political environment.
