A Study On The Orientation, Function And Evolution Of Foreign Trade In Shanghai

With the transforming of the international security structure and the development of the economic globalization, the diplomacy of a country’s central government no longer monoplies a country’s diplomacy. On the contrary, to enhance a country’s diplomacy, central governments are now encouraging more and more local governments to take part in the international cooperation and exchange, so that a win-win result can be achieved both at the national and the local level. Among all forms of local governments’diplomacy, the exchange and cooperation between international friendship cites is one of the most popular forms.
