Adopting the approaches of factor analysis and comparison researches, this papermakes the lobby groups of pro-Israel and pro-Arab the study objects and focuses onanalyzing their lobby on the each factor of American foreign policy making. Itsummarizes different factors that affect the American foreign policy making as wellas the roles played by the lobby groups of pro-Israel and pro-Arab in each decisionmaking factor, inducing the successful factors and restricting factors of the two lobbygroups. It also compares the different roles of lobby groups of pro-Israel and pro-Arabin each factor of American foreign policy making. To some degree, it is significant tomake up for the research in this field in China.This paper is divided into four parts, apart from the introduction part andconclusion part. The first chapter illustrates the innate connection between the lobbygroups and foreign policies. The second chapter discusses the origin and developmentof the American Jewish group as well as its organization features. The third chapterexpounds the history and current situations of American Arabians, the formation andcharacteristics of the pro-Arab lobby group. The fourth chapter compares andanalyzes the three aspects of lobby resources, strategies and effects of the two lobbygroups. The conclusion part summarizes the successful factors and restricting factorsof lobby groups of pro-Israel and pro-Arab lobby. Generally speaking, due to thepolitical and economic advantages of the pro-Israel lobby group in America andflexible lobby strategies, it achieves more desired lobby effects and gains theadvantage in the long term. |
