An Empirical Study On Group Panic In The Perspective Of Public Governance

At present,our country is in the critical period of economic transition and social transformation.The series of public crises easy to create a social atmosphere of panic,increase the psychological burden when people deal with public crises and aggravate the destructive of public crisis.In other words,many consequences of catastrophic events are not always caused by the disaster themselves in public crisis.group fled,stampede and extrusion is a major cause of casualties which aroused by group panic.Therefore,the issue of groups panic which associated with the crisis must arouse sufficient attention.By finishing the literature,the author found that researches has a considerable depth on public crisis management,but it is rare that researches who probe it from the view of sociological point,regard group panic as a research topic in public crisis management,in-depth analysis on the basis of investigation of its causes,influence,and furthermore,make recommendations and thinking.Based on describing and analyzing the phenomenon of group panic,this article use literature,interviews,case studies and other research methods and teases the background of group panic problem,ideas and methods,concepts and frameworks, and groups panic were classified.The article analyze reasons of panic from the whole social environment,group behavior and individual three aspects,describes its positive and negative social impacts,and finally proposes to prevent and reduce panic thinking suggestions groups respectively from the ideological level, the intellectual level and the operational level.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction, mainly introduces the background and significance of the paper,literature review,research ideas and methods,content framework,the study proposed to play a theme focused on the vital role;the second chapter is basic research including the group panic concepts,theories principles and case analysis.The third chapter analyzes the main reasons of the group panic and its cause,the content mainly include the definition of the concept,classification,group panic characteristics and Analysis of the causes.Combined with the interviews survey,summed up the causes of panic groups are the following:social security issues increased in the risk society,the risk increased,the transition society is facing a crisis of confidence,the lack of basic knowledge of science and technology restrict social cognition of residents,blind psychological contributing to the group panic;The fourth chapter is the impact of the group panic on social security.Although the the disadvantages of group panic outweigh the advantages,but this chapter uses the dialectical analysis of the idea,still specific analyzes advantages and disadvantages of the group panic.On the one hand,they can help promote panic research problem group on the one hand,promote reflection on public crisis management and improve the ability to cope with risks,on the other hand damage to social order,threatening a personal and property safety,reduce social trust degree.The latter harm social stability,belongs to focus on and govern;the last chapter is thinking about control group panic.This paper not only attempts to innovate on research ideas, but also seeks a breakthrough on the theoretical discussion and classification defined. As the theory of collective action, the article pointed out that the level of panic and the probability of similar incidents of public crisis there is a correlation.
