In recent years, funeral industry has become a hot topic for people at one’s leisure with the deepening of the reform of the funeral. "High", "huge profits" have become the synonym of the funeral industry. At the same time, funeral workers became the envy of the crowd. However, some people who think the funeral profession is just job about "burn the dead people" have scoffed at the funeral industry. What impact will it have on the funeral workers family, their life, and their occupation identity with the traditional misunderstanding? What is truth about the funeral workers’daily work? What psychological feeling do they have with the outside misunderstandings? What effect will these misunderstandings exert on then-occupation identity? These questions have raised the writer’s interest.With these questions, the writer has started deep interviews to the funeral workers in M County funeral parlor with interview method. By taking the ecological system theory as the theoretical basis and combing the interview results, the writer has analyzed the occupation identity situation of funeral workers from the micro, mezzo, macro, and outside social system four perspectives.Finally, according to the analysis results, the writer has carried out the concrete case intervention from the micro system of funeral workers professional identity and four times group activities for the mezzo system organization, In addition, specific measures and suggestions are put forward from macroscopic and outside social system to enhance the professional identity of funeral workers. This paper aims to raise funeral workers professional identity sense from the individual level with professional specific intervention activities as well as broaden the social work’s service field at the same time.
