A Study On The Cultivation Of Contemporary Peasants 'Socialism' S Core Values

The Eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China put forward clearly that we should promote prosperity, democracy, civility, and harmony, uphold freedom, equality, justice and the rule of law and advocate patriotism, dedication,integrity, and friendship, so as to cultivate and practice core socialist values. It does not only corresponds with the development of socialist with Chinese characteristics requirements, but also undertakes Chinese excellent traditional culture and the outstanding achievements of human civilization, and it is the important thesis that our party makes, which condenses whole society value consensus. China is a large agricultural nation, the rural population occupies an important proportion in the national population. Thus, the peasant’s problem cannot be ignored. With the open reform and the development of socialistic market economy of our country, we are in an important period of transition of economic and social development, the rural politics, economy, cultural, social and other aspects have undertaken a series of changes in rural areas, peasants as the main body, their values are also affected and show a wide range of state. The value of peasant directly affects the development direction of every trade in rural, it decides the new rural areas construction and the completion of the building of a moderately prosperous society in all respects.Therefore, it is highly necessary that use the socialism core values to guide the peasant’s value choice and value orientation, and cultivate peasants’ socialist core values in this new era.In this paper, we take the Marxism theory as the instruction make use of the Marxist standing, viewpoint and methods to research relevant issues of the peasants’ value, and summarize the domestic scholars on the study of the values. Since the reform and opening up, the socialist market economy develops rapidly, our country is in the transition period between traditional agricultural society and modern industrial society, on the basis of the background, this paper elaborates the characteristic of socialist core values cultivating for peasants and the significance to the rural development are expounded. In the study of peasants ’ values, the author elaborated the social transition of various ideological influence on farmers’ values,and then put the Mengjin of Henan province as an example, carried on the investigation and analysis of local peasants’ value through literature, questionnairesurvey and the method of system analysis, summarized the present situation of the peasants’ values from the aspects of state, society and individual, and then study its restricting factors. According to the present situation and restricting factors of peasant value, the author put forward the path of cultivating core socialist value: publicity and education is a strong measure for the cultivation of socialist core values, culture is the effective way to cultivate the core values of socialism, the development of economy is the material basis of cultivating the core values of socialism, education investment is an important guarantee for the cultivation of socialist core values. Through these ways to promote the transformation of peasants’ value, the paper provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for the construction of new countryside and a well-off society in an all-round way as soon as possible.
