The first part discusses trends in the Syria-Egypt relationship from1958to1970. The second part discusses the war results and their influence on regional politics and policies of great powers. The third part analyses reasons of the change of relationships between Syria and Egypt during this period. The main purpose of this thesis is to objectively restore the relationship between these two countries during this period. In this specific historical period, Syria and Egypt first established the United States of Arabia. Later, both of the countries go separate ways. And then, they fought side by side during the war. Finally, with the failure of the war and the opening of pluralism in regional politics, the two countries gradually improved their relationship and once again joined together by the time of the forth Middle East War. During the same period, the competition for the Middle East by the two super powers US and USSR along with the changing of Syria-Egypt relationship makes the international relationship in Middle East more complicated.
