Analysis And Test Of EOC Solutions For Tri-network Integration Of Broadcast And TV's HFC Networks

Earlier this year, the State Council executive meeting decided to accelerate the integration of telecommunications network, broadcast and TV network and Internet, put forward the goal of promoting the triple play of the stage. Under the guidance of national policy, China's cable operators improved their networks to provide "triple play" (video/high speed internet/voice) services. As we all know, the traditional one-way television networks must be implemented on the two-way network upgrade, so cable operators are looking for standards-based, not only economic but also to adapt to future changes in technology solutions.EOC program is a low-cost solution for current cable networks to updated.lt can take full advantage of existing HFC network,does not require re-wiring with a easay installation,and can provide high-performance Internet access, video on demand VOD, VOIP ordinary telephone service, interactive TV, etc,with open structure and high reliability. EOC program can provides various services through the cable network with a standardized technology.In this paper,we investigated the principle of EOC,and analyzed manily focused on the physical layer of EOC.The performance characteristics of EOC products,technology and engineering applications has been described.We first outlines how to use the technology to achieve the solution for EOC Ethernet coaxial two-way HFC network, analog radio and television HFC network.And then we tested all of the EOC products in terms of EMC testing, EOC product index, full compliance with national standards and published industry standards.The results show that EOC system can ensure access to radio and television HFC network in broadcasting networks,the current existing business will not be affected, and EOC can provide efficient broadband access technology.EPON and EOC technology can achieve two-way transformation of Radio and TV Network, which is useful for cable television network operators to bring unlimited business opportunities, andto create good economic and social benefits. Therefore, the use of radio and television EOC technology program is to achieve the best integration for HFC network access solution.
