With the rapid development of China’s telecommunications industry and the widespread use of smart phones, the user’s demand for high-speed Internet business is becoming more and more obvious. TD-LTE as a 3G follow-up evolution technology, with high speed, low time delay of the technical characteristics of the LTE era of mobile communications core network will be carried by EPC network. In the face of technological development, how to do a good job of mobile core network planning and design is very important.Firstly the TD-LTE core network technology were studied on the EPC core network system architecture, mainly network element functions and interfaces and protocols. Secondly, in of Hubei mobile core network status and existing problems of analysis based on, the user scale were predicted to clarify the Hubei Mobile uses the way of construction of the EPC core network strategies for integration with existing 2G / TD core network, and detailed description of the core network construction scheme and the existing 2G / TD core network reconstruction scheme, of core network and all kinds of network organization connected the implementation scheme of different mode and voice, data, messaging and other business are discussed, and clearly the various routing path. Again, the number scheme, IP address scheme, network and billing management, bandwidth demand, clock synchronization and so on were analyzed. Finally, the actual network operation results show that the proposed scheme has a more detailed requirements for the network construction, and it has high operability, which can be a good guide for the implementation of the project.
