Along with the development of embedded technology and wireless communication technology, the data transmission based on embedded and wireless communication network is more widely used. In the modern society, people pay more and more attention to the temperature factors. Such factors are often required testing and controling on the specific environment of life and production.Therefore people are very strict to the temperature range. This paper will take the gathering of temperature for example, which is based on the background, considering the comprehensive past data acquisition system and the advantages and disadvantages of using existing GPRS wireless network, achieves the acquisition terminal of the wireless data based on ARM. The terminal can be used to collect data on site information and access to mobile network through GPRS wireless module, so as to realize to upload the remote data transmission to PC monitoring center. The terminal module has clear structure, convenient expansion and easy implementation. So it can be applied in a wide range of data acquisition occasion.Combining with the current embedded technology, wireless communication technology and Internet technology, this paper adopts development of the host machine and the target machine mode. We should establish suitable cross-compilation program on the host environment which can be used on the target machine through a serial port and the network interface port.We can debug and compile the program on the host machine. So we get execute code on our target machine by operation. Users don't need know the complex communication protocol, and can easily achieve uploading the collected data to the monitoring center by TCP/IP channel.The realization of this topic is based on the hardware platform of ARM9 and software platform of the embedded Linux operating system. This article is based on the premise of the background and study, then analyzing the demand of system function and describing the system framework. Next this paper introduces the transplantation of Linux operating system based on the ARM hardware platform, including loading guide procedures, transplanting Linux operating system kernel, producing the cramfs file system and testing the TCP/IP protocol. In the software platform, compile the corresponding driver according to temperature sensor DS18B20, and this terminal can measure the temperature data. Next this article analysizes how the GPRS terminal can access the network.Through driving the serial port 1 so as to access the GPRS wireless telecommunication module to the Internet. So the PC obtains the dynamic IP which is distributed by mobile and finally realizes data wireless transmission.
