The biggest problem of the blind is how to travel safe. In reality,The blind people need some equipment to help himselves walk,such as the blind rod, guide dogs, blind road. The development of guiding equipment must be able to accurately identify obstacles, traffic lights, blind road, zebra crossing and positioning capability. Based on the analysis over the current study, this paper does further research in the basic position and the identification of traffic lights, blind way and Zebra crossing. The research of this thesis is divided into the following three areas:First, traffic lights and road information identification. This paper apply code chip PT2262 address pin to characterize the different locations and traffic light's state. And different coding to high-frequency electromagnetic wave frequency 315Mhz transmitted out through the software decoding to identify the traffic lights and road information. Coded signal is launched by the high-frequency electromagnetic waves of 315Mhz. Then, through the software decoding to identify the traffic lights and road information.The aspects in Identification of the traffic lights is divided into two parts:the traffic lights circuit module combined the junction ID information with current status of the traffic light information, stored by different connerctions of address pins for PT2262 encoder; Handheld equipment use Embedded MicroController United to drive the voice chip Signal by software decoder, then it sent the corresponding message. The system has designed to be simple, low cost and easy to implement,the experimental verification feasible.Second, Blind identification. This paper presents an algorithms of blind way identification,which based on image segmentation. It is worthy of learning from the determination of the blind way's direction.by studying the common characteristics of the blind way's different forms, the paper design a fast recognition algorithm based on internal blind primitives. Working principle is to use consistency in the shape of the bulge inside Blind to identify the blind road. First, we extract a set of parallel lines,which formed by Strip bumps inside Blind, then, calculate the distance between the parallel line. If the distance is appropriate, we believe that the the blind way in the scope of video.Calculating the slope of this set of parallel lines in the video capture coordinates, We determine the direction of blind way. This approach has very good identification properties for blind way covered small Shelter.Third, the zebra crossing identification. In this paper, the zebra image processing is Preprocessing, edge look, line search. Eventually find more than a straight line should be close to a straight line parallel(Because shooting angle was not perpendicular direction, so there will be a slight curvature of zebra stripes).Based on the minimum error method to calculate the average slope of these straight lines, we adjust the way forward according to the slope.
