The Development Of Audio And Video Player

The digital multimedia technology and Internet enrich people's life. The Media Player is the best tool to show the media files. Using the Media Player, the audio or video files can be decoded and played. While the Media Player becomes more powerful, it becomes more snobbish. In this paper, a simple, utility Media Player is developed. This paper mainly includes the following parts:(1) The knowledge of DirectShow. Firstly the basic concept, main composition and Filter Graph of DirectShow are thoroughly described in this paper, and then the interfaces of DirectShow are described.(2) Development of the player. First, the implementation theory and constructing method of Filter Graph are presented in this paper, and then the whole Filter Graph is constructed with the coding or decoding Filters. Second this paper introduces the Control interfaces of DirectShow and main function realization of the Media Player. At last, the development of a Filter is introduced, and then the function of grabbing picture based on Sample Grabber Filter is implemented especially.The Media player developed by this paper supports kinds of audio or video files with appropriate decoder Filters.
