Since the 20th century, 60 years, the birth of computer graphics, its main objective is to follow traditional camera generated the images. So far, these technologies are already quite perfect. At the same time, NPR (non-photorealistic graphics) as an important area of graphics, more and more people are concerned it. Traditional realistic graphics pursuit the effects that "like a photo-real", but, non-photorealistic rendering is different from traditional realistic graphics, the goal of non-photorealistic rendering is to simulate a traditional artistic style, perform the image of art characteristics. Researchers have used the computer to achieve a number of art forms rendering, such as ink, watercolors, pencil drawing, etc. Non-photorealistic rendering of pencil drawing has become an important research field, has attracted more and more CG researchers to take up with the generation of pencil work, which is the main motivation and research cruces.According to the difference of rendering commencement, Non-photorealistic rendering techniques can be divided into two-dimensional rendering image basing image space and three-dimensional rendering image basing object space. In this paper, study sketch-style images in-depth, found the sketch painting of unique art characteristics, on this basis, it puts forward own ideas, through computer simulation, experimental results have been good. The major innovative works includes:This paper presented a method that generation pencil drawing based on image. First, the color image was sharpen by Unsharp Mask (USM) to extract detail information, and color scaling was used to strength contrast degree. Second, stroke direction was generated by the method of vector field. Finally results of the pencil- drawing were gained by the line integral convolution (LIC) algorithm. The white noises were replaced by result image of USM for getting better effects of pencil texture. Results show that this approach can render images to an artistic style which is suitable for pencil sketching and personalized photo.This paper present a pencil texture generation method based on motion filter through analyzing the character of the real pencil texture. First, we need to extract the contour lines. Second, to convert RGB values to HSV color space then use the luminance values to guide the distribution of the white noise. Finally, the motion blur algorithm is applied to get effects of pencil drawing. This method is simple to implement and good effects. The results show that our method can generate effects closer to real pencil drawing which is suitable for personalized photo. Presented a new color image fusion algorithm applied to the pencil drawing simulation. Taking into account the artists in painting, it is usually choose a sketch paper, drawing paper helping to enhance the unique pencil effects. Therefore, this paper presents this approach applied to simulate the pencil drawing. First the user to select the style of sketch paper, and then sketch paper and pencil drawing of results images have been fusion, by changing the parameter values can produce different results, but also can be multiple fusion. Experimental results show that the results of image fusion result is more natural, pencil drawing effects is better.
