| As a piece of newspaper, the development of Reference's News lasts 54 years. Reference's News encountered frustration, prosperity and reform.At present, there are a few monographs and papers for researching Reference's News. And the researchers are aiming at the history of it. For example, Mao Zedong took initiative in expanding the issue of Reference's News. The edition of Reference's News received supervision from Zhou Enlai. And there is a little research in terms of translatology to study the gains and losses of Reference's News, or involving the reports of international news. The research of this paper is not systematic. This thesis makes use of a lot of the first hand material and takes advantage of the content anolysis.In this paper, the development of Reference's News is divided into three terms. From 1957 to 1978, the newspaper developed difficultly. From 1979 to 1992, it rectified the influence of the great proletarian cultural revolution. Now it confronts with opportunity and challenge from the external environment and it tries to reform.Changes and insistance happen from the past to the present. It insists on mastering and publishing by politician and making extracts from other country's press and newspaper and news from Hongkong, Taiwan and Macau, without its own criticism. It changes its form and content for audience's requirement. The editors opened up columns and planned supplements. The newspaper started to public news writing by its own journalist and enhance the depth of reporting. |
