In order to encourage students who do well in their works and most important, to promote general progress on their moral quality, intelligence quality, physical quality and other qualities, university has established a set of variety scholarship items. At the same time, university devotes a lot of human resources and material resources and plenty of money as well. Scholarship management has a quite complicated workflow and a wide range, especilly assessment business, which always happens in a fixed time, most frequently at the beginning of a new semester, and is done manully in most universities. As we know, manual operation is inefficient and is more likely to make mistakes. So a mangement system which can meet the needs of scholarship management is needed. Although there are many available management information systems, universities are still crying for a management system that can absolutely meet their needs.A university resource planning (URP) resolution was proposed to solve problems in Education Informatics such as lack of planning, no sharing of resources, difficulties in application integration, and un-friendly interfaces. The URP resolution integrated the university information systems, analyzed relationships between university departments, built an information standard, platform and interface specification, and loosely integrated various applications within the university to provide individualized services. Based on URP resolution, the thesis gived us an detailed analysis on scholarship management business and workflow and then schemed out a full and clear design on business flow, usecase. fuction and database. It also discussed how to implement the system with J2EE Platform and Oracle Application Development Framwork and a set of related technologies as well. Generally speaking, the design schema performed by the thesis can meet the needs of a majority of universities. |
