The Distributed Multi-access IP Phone Information System

IP phone technology is more and more widely used with the development of Technology of computer network. IP phone, using the computer data communication network to transmit voice signal, can provide lower cost application and functional agility. It was taken as the mode of telephone service in the future.On the other hand, IP phone technology has met some problems in the Enterprise Application:1. It take a high cost when using current IP system to make a extend to traditional PBX system;2. Its compatibility to traditional PBX systems;3. It will bring some problems that using IP phone system and PBX system at the same time.So, IP phone technology hasn't been widely used in the enterprise telephone systems.According to this, we develop an IP phone information system based on the Enterprise Local Area Network. This system uses the distributed architecture, can provide smooth extending to traditional PBX system or builds an integrated Enterprise telephone system. We have taken full advantage of the resources in the Enterprise LAN, and considered the customers' habit of using telephone service in the system design, so, the system can provide solutions to different requirements of enterprise customers with high performance price ratio.In this paper, we have introduced the design of the distributed multi-access IP phone information system. At first, we analyze the requirements of enterprise customers, and bring the design of distributed multi-access architecture. Then, we analyze the key technology and introduce the hardware and software design and realization in this system. At last, we point out the direction of the development and the significance of this IP phone system.
