As computer control technology and network communication technology gradually developed , Remote elevator monitoring system becomes the important technology of controlling elevator fields, through telephone lines or network , elevator maintenance service and monitoring centre can operate and monitor the elevators located in various parts, then monitors and statistics the failure and the running state of elevators. The elevator is equipment of mechanical products. It is essential for the maintenance personnels to discover failure because of its complex structure, higher reliability requirements. So design and realization of remote elevator monitoring system is of great significance and broad application prospects.The article analyzes several kinds of remote elevator monitoring system, proposes Internet based remote elevator monitoring system. The system is consists of DSP and realtek full-duplex ethernet controller. The design of interface module, communication module and the software of monitoring have been finished.The design of the hardware of Internet based remote elevator monitoring system has been finished. The method of DSP access ethernet is studied. The interface circuit is designed. The program of RTL8019AS is accomplished.The system is based on the DSP software research platform, used C language and assembler language programming. Follows the lamination design thought and the modular design method, the article proposes TCP/IP protocol stack and analyzes encapsulation of data frames. Principle of ARP, IP, ICMP, TCP protocol is introduced. Based Visual C + + language and the object-oriented programming thought, the software design of Internet based remote elevator monitoring system is completed. System includes permission module, real-time monitoring module, data maintenance module and the data analysis module. The failure and the running state of elevators are showed dynamicly. The user information, the running state of elevators, solution of failure and maintenance information are managed by database. The design of ATL template class and software interface of remote elevator monitoring system are accomplish. The last of article has prospected development of the remote elevatormonitoring system.
