The application of the information management combines various functions in the logistics together, and reduces the management cost. Therefore, the information level has already become the symbol of logistics industry's development level. As to the professional logistic service provider, such as the third-party logistics and the delivery center, etc., it is necessary to combine the informationization and the delivering together. Introducing the modern mobile devices in the logistics information system could help the enterprises offer the feedback to the customer in a more flexible and faster way, so as to improve the customer's satisfaction level and the market competence power. As to Sitong Ltd company, after analyzing its major operation procedure and original information system, the paper demonstrates the feasibility of applying mobile computing technology in the company. Besides, it develops MLIS1.0 (mobile logistics information system 1.0) to solve the current problems faced by the company. The new system is make up of mobile foreground subsystem and web foreground subsystem. The system is developed at J2ME platform, and adopts Client/Intercept/Server model. To solve the fast transmission problem when the data pass the network, it chooses mobile data storage as the solution. It also considers the data security problem, and imposes IEEE802.1x port access control technology to settle. In using Over-The-Air MIDlet allocation, the roller end could download the system. All the design of the system is based on its usability and its elasticity, so it confirms me that logistics service industries could make use of the mobile computing technology, which can accelerate the information exchange. Further more, the new system effectively improves the logistics efficiency and increases the logistics informationization level.
