Design And Implementations Of Intelligent Alarm Sytem Based On Embedded System

Intelligent community alarm system based on UART is incapability in some aspects including flexibility, extendibility and transmission distance etc. Besides, such system can be easily and heavily disturbed, which impedes the system to develop and popularize enormously. Therefore, it's a necessary choice to develop an alarm system based on IP and utilize Ethernet network of now at large so as to bring the network into full play.An intelligent alarm system based on ES (Embedded System) is designed and implemented in this dissertation, in which embedded system technology, network and encryption technology are applied. This dissertation includes in chief the contents as follows.Through analyzing functions and requirements of intelligent alarm system, general architecture of intelligent alarm are introduced. All parts of this system are described in detail such as choice of alarm detector. Compared with serial devices of past, this system transfer UART to Ethernet with UART-Ethernet module so as to improve the flexibility, reliability and steer ability of the system. According to analyzing the requirements of system and embedded chips markets, based on ARM micro-processor LPC2104 as kernel ,an embedded system is set up and all parts of it such as circuits and interfaces devices are illustrated in detail. Based on this system and ARM development platform, alarm functions are carried out, and then ,the testing of functions is done, which proved the expected main functions have been implemented. In the end of this thesis, the problems about the security of network are lifted and solved out by firewalls technology and data encryptions. Embedded alarm system has an better ability of extend and adaptive, which may apply in many environments and fields. It has a good applications future. On the other hand , it also has some drawback that need to be improved in future. This system is only an attempt to design more efficient intelligent alarm system, it canproyides experience when developing the system related to it ,which is helpful to the research of alarm system technology.
