With the continuous development of the network technology the modern e-education system which based on internet is also developing constantly. Along with it appeared a great number of new hi-technology that can be used on e-education system. One of typical cases is the VOIP technology that is being researched and popularized recently. VOIP is also called IP telephone or IP network telephone. It is the abbreviation of Voice over IP.The most advanced one in the VOIP technology is the SIP protocol. SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) is a signal control protocol in application layer which was put forward by IETF. It can be used to establish, revise, and cease the course of conversation between one or several participates. The advantages of SIP protocol are concision, convenient link, excellent expansibility, text-based and affair-oriented. These advantages made it extensively used in many fields like IP telephone, immediate corresponding and video conference, etc. This thesis shows a deep-going research on the application of SIP protocol in e-education system. Meanwhile, detailed elaborations are given on the implementation of SIP protocol esse, and a further discussion on how to implement the multicast of SIP protocol is given. This thesis shows a particular design on SIP sub-system which developed with JAVA and use JAIN-SIP as API,and support by MYSQL as database. Detailed elaborations are given on the implementation of SIP protocol esse , and a further discussion on how to implement the multicast of SIP protocol is given in this article.
