Chinese electric power product is now on a stage changing from safety management to management concerning safety as well as economy. At the same time, the development demands higher quality and security of electric power products."Parting plants and net, competing the prices, supplying the products with same quality and price in the same net"is the essential aim for the reformation of power management system. It is necessary to reconstruct the original power plant units through using advanced technique and devices.This thesis basis on the reconstructing project of Boiler-turbine integral control in Shajiao A Power Plant. It discusses the specialties of the project, the application of Symphony system. It concerns the design of the system overview, the hardware and software, the technique of automatic control, etc.This thesis focuses the advanced technique and developing direction of the automatic control in large-scale coal power plants. Through the researching of generator automatic control, Unit coordination control, varying parameter loop-control, feed forwarding steam-temperature control, it tries to explore the ways of developing unit automation. With the application of sharing operator stations technique between DCS-DEH, of unit's group control, of communication technique between DCS and MIS, Symphony system advanced the level of unit complex control. It builds the firm base for modern management in power plant.It is proved that by using the advanced DCS system and advanced concepts; we can save investments, as well as advance automatic control level, increases economic benefits, and increasing the competition of power plant in the market.
