Studies On The Management Of Private Archives

Private archives are integral part of national archival resources, while those which have preservative value for nation or society demands to be managed legally. With the establishment of the system of socialistic market economy, private archives appear a tendency of rapid rise, which calls for reinforced management.Based upon the survey of related theory and practice, through introducing the managerial experience of foreign private archives, analyzing the relevant rules in our country's existing laws and regulations, the author probes into the managerial methods suited the concrete situation in our country.This thesis puts the main emphasis on the research of private archives legislation for our country, and the managerial methods are internalized in the legislation. The author analysis it from the definition, archival appraisal, disposal of proprietary rights, the state's supervision, storage department etc, intending to make the management of our country's private archives into standardization and institutionalization.
