The Design Of Light Gateway Based On Embedded Linux

In the information technical research realm, the embedded network is very important in much research direction. Moreover, in the embedded network, the embedded gateway is the main constitute part. It has prominent meaning to the embedded network technical development. This paper introduce some key techniques to set up the light embedded gateway. By contrasting some embedded techniques, we design a kind of project called the light embedded gateway. We carry out data communication between various embedded network and local area network. And we give the concrete realization.We adopted the ARM9 series microprocessor---S3C2410 produced by Sansung Electronics Co.,Ltd. ARM-Linux operate system are choosed to use. This paper mainly discuss the project of the embedded gateway,real time much mission operate system(RTOS), protocol conversion, the hardware and software design of embedded gateway, the transplantation of operate system, and the application of embedded gateway in producing control, intelligence family network etc. The point in the paper is to introduce the driver realization. It concretely relates to setting up developing environment, running operating system, transplanting operating system and function Lib, designing some special driver program.Using embedded network technique, the intelligence equipments can link to become a kind of network of distribute type, and provide a kind of cost low, the credibility is high, vivid good, the control convenient network.The embedded network is connected to each kind of network through network interface controller, including familiar LAN net, WAN net, Internet net, Intranet net etc., constituting a network system which has the distribute type processing ability of the network information and advanced control function. The controller of this paper is the light embedded gateway based on Linux.
