Design And Implementation Of VoIP Terminal Access Gateway Based On AC48624 Voice Processor

Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a technology that allows you to make voice calls and transmit other increment services using a broadband Internet connection instead of an analog phone line, its advantage is to provide better and more flexible multimedia service by using global IP network resources. Gateway is one of the most important parts in the VoIP system, with providing low-cost calling and other diversification increment services.With the background of the application of VoIP technology in the special network, the article is presented with the basic transfer principle, the system buildup, and key technology of VoIP. H.323 protocol is analyzed, and some problem that VoIP system is in face of is discussed. The software implementation of VoIP terminal access gateway is particularly introduced, the software implementation of gatekeeper system based on H.323 is presented, and the application of this test system in special network is analyzed. Finally, there's a brief illumination about softswich technology and key technology of the next generation network referred in this project.
