A Model Transformation Of Tacit Knowledge Based On Ontology

With the rapid development of the knowledge-based economy and globalization, knowledge as a new resource has come to be accepted by people, tacit knowledge can create values, it will be key to the success of individuals and organizations. Traditional knowledge base can't express large number of complex knowledge and semantic knowledge. Ontology can definite concepts, it also expresses relations of many concepts. So ontology makes the knowledge sharing possible. This paper we using ontology to build a model of tacit knowledge transformation.The main content of this paper summarized as follows:First introduces the background of the paper, research method, and significance. Then introduces theory of knowledge management, from the definition of knowledge management and analyzed the existing model, and then introduce the concept of tacit knowledge and its transformation model and obstacles. The purpose is to clarify the main study, summarized key element of tacit knowledge. Then introduces the study and application of ontology, also introduces ontology used in knowledge management and tacit knowledge management. After these we study how ontology applied to tacit knowledge transfer to explicit knowledge and build a model, and is divided into three functional modules. By introducing ontology building tools Protégé3.2beta, this paper explains the ontology building process. Introduce a case as an example to illustrate the model has research value.
