This paper introduces the design of evaluation board for testing CMOS sensor,This board is armed to the sensor which is designed by Tianjin University ASIC Design center. With increasing of the number of the pixels of CMOS sensor, the realizing of rapid transmit is more and more difficulty. Parallel interface can't finish the task of collecting pixels and imaging .It is a good way to collect pixels and image by USB. The task of this paper is to research the evaluation board based on USB for CMOS sensor.At present , the firmware for usb is finished by 51 or 51 core mcu with c usually, its speed is finite . The firmware of USB is programmed by Verilog HDL and realize by FPGA in this paper. Thus, the speed of transmitting pixels will be improved , this way also can repair for merge the firmware with CMOS sensor.When ReadFile is used by application program , the means to finish large data transmit in driver program is explained in this paper. This is difficult to find from other books.The first chapter of this paper introduces basically the whole composition of the evaluation board.The scheme of hardware is explained in the second chapter. The third chapter introduces the driver program of USB. The application program of the board is described in the forth chapter. The select of the development software is introduced in the final chapter.
