With the high development of mobile communication, it is very importance to enlarge the coverage network , enhance the quality of network. It is the way to resovle the problem to construct the repeaters. The characters of fiber-optic repeater is that the loss of optic signal attenuation, the resistence of inteference, the low cost and the simple of setting and maintenance. The RF Optical Transceiver module is important part of fiber-optic repeater. Comparing to analog Optical Transceiver Module, Smart RF Optical Transceiver Module can realize digital supervisory function, It highly integrates some function, such as monitor optical power detector , RF power detector, smart control and RF gain control., which makes that one module can replace some modules. which reduces the complexity of fiber-optic repeater.The thesis discusses the whole structure of system firstly and the reason of why to select the plate of hardware and software, secondly anlyses the data communication protocol of smart RF optical transceiver module, emphatically researches the design of software and hardware of monitor system, analyses the design of hardwork, the soft configure of CC1000, data acquire, data check and memory. At last, the test method and the experimental result of the algorithm are given to test the realization of software and hardware in this thesis.In order to control fsk communication, the system uses wireless data transceiver CC1000, which can easily be programmed for RF power, transmit/receive mode and data format. In order to enhance the accuracy of data acquire, system uses digit filter algorithm to decrease error which incurs by random noise. Using the technique of lookup table to realize voltage converting to power directly. The system uses In Application Programming functions, which can erase and program the Flash while the application is running.Tremendous experiment results are presented in the thesis,and the results prove that the result of RF power detector, optical power detector, LD bias current, RF gain control and bit error rate measures up to the design standard.
