The Design And Implement Of A Kind Of Application On Telemedicine Based On Integrated Telecommunication Service System

Telemedicine has obvious advantages than traditional medicine treatment. It includes remote diagnose, remote consultation, remote education, remote information services and related medicine activities. The development of computer technologies and communication technologies, especially the development of Internet and mobile communication, provides the technical platform for telemedicine. The application on medical treatment of integrated telecommunication service system becomes especially important. Communication technologies such as GPRS, CDMA2000-1X can provide data access link without increase too much cost for telemedicine. The combination of telemedicine and communication technologies especially is the trend. This paper introduces a simple medical platform architecture, which utilizes client/server architecture in that intellectual cellphone plays the mobile terminal role cooperating with background server. The communication protocol is made and the system is implemented. The function of the system mainly contains the real-time monitor sub-system of medical sensor and instant message transmission sub-system. The former one can collect real-time medical information and send it to server for further processing, and the latter can enable doctors and patients to communicate via mobile digital networks. The system is developed by Java language. The mobile terminal part is developed by J2ME, and server part is developed by J2EE. Many further applications can be developed based on this platform, and its value in future telemedicine system can be great. This paper makes the related prospects, and describes the various service capabilities of the future evolutional system. The construction of this kind of systems can not only enhance the service and management capabilities but also provide more profits for construction companies. The market foreground is wide.
