Based On Java Network Instant Messaging System Design And Implementation

With the rapid development of the computer network technology, Instant Message is getting more popular. Utilizing this technology, audio and video information can be transmitted, direct and real communication among co-workers who are in distance can be achieved. Meanwhile, when multimedia technology is used, a variety of information can be processed by users.The subject of this thesis is the Communication System supported by the internal network– MyICQ. This system is mainly orientated towards internal network, and applied to users within enterprises. To ensure the implementation of this subject, Java language is needed. It aims at solving communication and coordination problems, and improving efficiency. In enterprises, sending text messages, chatting within groups, exchanging information with more people, and communicating via audio and video, all of these can be achieved by using this system. In this system, client and server programs are included, and LAN and Internet are supported. Within enterprises instant communication among the staff can be achieved anytime, anywhere, and then cooperative Work will be truly realized. Having their own Instant Message systems, which are beneficial to these enterprises.In accordance with the actual needs, in this thesis MYICQ has been designed and implemented. The major works includes:First: The theoretical basis and the relevant agreements of this thesis have been elaborated, and requirements analyses of this system have been discussed.Second: The overall design of the system, database design, server design and implementation, and client design and implementation are discussed.Third: Description of system testing and system configuration and use, as well as a summary of this thesis and prospects.Of course, the system also has some imperfections, and strives to be amended in the future study and work, so that the system really serves the enterprise, improve work efficiency.
