The Design And Realization Of Real-time Communication System Terminal

Recently, the newly developing instant massaging (IM) System in Internet applications has attracted a lot of attention. Through building virtual community, instant messaging system can provide customers with real-time communications. With its evolution to communication multimedia and entering to industries, instant messaging is being investigated extensively. Whereas ,there is still a lot of research to do. Ddtone Instant Messaging System is developed by the Network security foundation laboratory in UESTC and New Concept Company in Shenzhen for commercial purpose. This system provides a platform for text communication,online infomation, file transmission and online-meeting.The author's assignment includes the division of modules at clinet, some modules'design and implementation, and testing of the integrated system. Now Ddtone system v1.0 has been put in application. At first, we make clear the following problem: 1. What works should IM do? 2. How to design and implement the application protocol for IM? 3. How to build the frame of IM's modules? So another two problems emerges in sequence: 1. What's the trend of IM system development? 2. What extended work should do to perfect the system we have done? Aiming at the above problems, we get the systemic conception of Instant Messaging System,service mode,communication protocol,communication thesis. The thesis provides reference about the division of modules at clinet, design and implementation. In the thesis, we described the mapping relation between the abstract module of IM and the Practical IM system by anatomizing the basic function of IM system: Presence Service and Instant Message Service. Also, we analyzed the ways that IM system traversing the firewall with NAT, that is the way to implement communication between LAN and WAN or LAN and LAN. From the principle of rapid life cycle, we designed an appropriate blue print, and implemented a client of IM system completely.
