| Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) is aimed at realizing the informationalization, intelligentize and socialization of transportation system. And it can solve the problems of transportation in the city. Thus it is paid more attention in by every country in the world especially the developed countries. As the key point of ITS -- vehicle navigation and monitoring system are developing quickly. This paper presents a kind of implementation method based on GPS/GIS/GPRS to develop vehicle navigation and monitoring system according to study the advanced development of GPS,GIS and GPRS field.Firstly, it introduces the tendency and current situation of vehicle navigation and monitoring system in the world. Then, it presents a general development scheme of the system. According to the requirement of system's functions and the analysis of key technologies, this paper selects GPRS as communication mode, GPS as orientation mode and integrated second development mode base on MapX.Then it respectively describes the design of software and hardware of vehicle information terminal and monitor centre. Finally, it discusses the process from theory analysis, hardware structure to realization of software and the resolved problems of vehicle information terminal. The system is comprised of vehicle information terminal, communication network and monitor centre. Vehicle information terminal includes GPS receiver, GPRS module, interactive interface, and guard against robbery and theft. Monitor centre is one or more normal PC which could connect internet and has fixed IP. Monitor centre makes the best of GIS tools to analyze and manage the database, also takes full advantage of VC++ which is efficient and convenience. So it can not only improve efficiency of the development of application system but also make the application have the better appearance. Furthermore, its database is powerful which has high reliability and easy to transplant and maintenance. Finally, we design testing scheme of the system. And we debug the program with test equipment platform in the laboratory. At the last, we introduce the progress of the real testing in the car and the result of testing. |
