| The remote monitoring system by the GPRS wireless transmission is developed toensure the security of the urban water supply networks and make them run smoothly.The system consists of upper computer and lower computer, i.e. the equipmentmonitoring terminal and the control center. Monitoring terminals is installed in thewater supply network equipment, to collect the device parameters such as pressure andflow of real-time, then by the GPRS wireless transmission to the monitoring center. TheMonitor staying at home can understand the pressure and flow conditions through thegeographic information through the visual interface. When the abnormal data appears,the system will alarm automatically.The system can realize the sharing of resources among various departments, thescientific, dynamic and visual management of the urban water supply pipe network, toimprove urban management efficiency. To provide for municipal construction ofunderground water distribution pipeline network and solutions, to achieve theautomation and modern management.The thesis elaborated on the overall system design. The industrial sensors andsingle chip are employed as the hard device, the monitoring data collection terminalincluding the use of sensor, GPRS wireless transmission protocol and communicationtheory, the monitoring center to receive and analysis the server data. Monitoringterminal includes database management, instrument dynamically generate and display,single query, batch query and display data.The results show that the technical performance indicators to achieve the designrequirements. Successfully achieved the low-volume, non-continuous data, wirelesstransmission, monitory points can increase within the specific range without anyaffection to the system, implement the purpose of water supply pipe network of remotemonitor.
