Experiment teaching is playing a very important role in the college of engineering science. In recent years the colleges are expanding the enrollment, which leads to a sharp increase in the number of student. What's more, the equipment and scale of laboratory can't meet the needs of them, especially in the automatic measurement and virtual instrument technique and bus equipment courses. The students have little chance to do the experiment by themselves, instead, they are divided into several groups to learn the details of the instrument, the way of which can't allow them make good use of time to learn more about the characteristics of instrument and how to use them well. It is bad for raising the student's enthusiasm and the ability of innovation and practice.Virtual instrument experiment teaching system is developing under this need. Besides, with the development of the technique of virtual instrument and field bus, we could build virtual instrument experiment teaching system by field bus, this system may play an important role in the student's experiment.The paper first introduces the status quo of domestic and foreign about the application of virtual instrument technique in the experiment teaching. And put forward the research subject of the application of virtual instrument in the sensor experiment teaching. And also resumes the virtual instrument technique and introduce the developing tool—LabVIEW developing environment and general design process.The paper analyses the way of traditional sensor experiment teaching, and because of the development of virtual instrument technique and CAN field bus nowadays. The paper put forward that using virtual instrument in the sensor experiment teaching is to do experiment by combining sensor experiment instrument and computer. That's connecting circuit on the experiment instrument, and displaying the measurement result on the computer. At the same time we can also show the important concept and formula in the form of FLASH, which allows the students interactive well with the experiment and increases their interest in doing experiment. As a result, it can improve the teaching quality. Besides, the chapter also analyses the building of virtual instrument sensor experiment teaching system and the hardware makeup and the function of every part and how to realize. The central module of hardware system is intelligent control module, and introduce the realization of it in detail.At the sametime, the paper introduces the design of software of experiment teaching system. It concludes intelligent control module and LabVIEW software design. The software of intelligent control module concludes initializing program and data collecting program and CAN communication program. Using LabVIEW developing platform on PC could analyze the collected signal and implement CAN-bus protocol by the way of transfer Dynamic Link Libraries.At last, the paper takes two sensor experimental teaching as example. Building relevant experiment system by different sensor experiment objects and then displaying the process of experiment in the form of FLASH, which can increase the students' interest and improve the teaching quality. |
