With the progress of the society and the rapid development of science and technology, the social demand of measuring instrument is more and more extensive, and measuring technology of all kinds of demand is higher and higher. Virtual instrument, as a representative of the new electronic measuring instrument changes the traditional design idea, make full use of strong software and hardware function of computer, which makes hardware functions are realized by software. The electronic measurement technology and computer technology in close integration with, is the new measurement techniques which fused the electronic measurement, computer and network technology. Compared with the traditional instruments, the virtual instruments in the level of intelligence, processing power and operating performance have obvious advantages. All kinds of measuring instruments which especially based on computer platform, as a result of the low cost, easy to use and more strong performance and so on the advantages to get more extensive application. These on scientific research and teaching have important significance.This paper introduces the design of a PC based virtual experiment instrument system.The system hardware platform is a data acquisition card which based on FPGA as the main control chip, this use of LabVIEW language realized the virtual instrument system virtual instrument system includes virtual digital oscilloscope, virtual signal generator and the virtual spectrum analyzer, and through the remote virtual instrument technology to achieve remote control system.(1) Firstly, this paper introduces the background and significance of the research topic, virtual instrument and the present situation and the research work in this paper.(2) Introduced the system realization index, virtual instrument software platform selection and data collection of key technology, and puts forward the overall design of the system.(3) Elaborated the system hardware design process, the proposed design scheme of hardware platform, research the signal conditioning circuit, A/D conversion circuit, USB interface and D/A module design, and the use of the FPGA hardware description language Verilog prepared the A/D sampling control module and SRAM control module to read and write.(4) Research the virtual instrument system software development process. This system has realized the virtual digital oscilloscope, virtual signal generator and spectrum analyzer, virtual instrument. In the system based on software design, gives the detailed design of each functional module, and comprehensive test and results analysis on the whole system.(5) Expounded the remote virtual instrument laboratory implementation process, through to two kind of remote virtual instrument technology to make comparison, choosing the right technology to realize the system remote monitoring. |
