Research On Call Control System Based On Softswitch In Next Gerneration Network

The technology of softswitch in Next Generation Network was becoming a new technology that been focus attention upon in telecommunications. The new carrier expand the market by means of it, also the old carrier expect to update PSTN to supply more services by means of it. The technology of softswitch is very pivotal during altering the circuit-switching network to packet-switching network. The network based on Softswitch is open system that managing traffic that contains a mixture of voice, fax, data and video simultaneous. It uses layered-structure leading to managing and expanding easily. The call control system is core of Softswitch system that deciding the capability of service supplying and call processing of softswitch system.The thesis is about the meaning and the background of the softswitch technology, and the current development of the technology. The equipment network structure, service framework are researched and analysed deeply. At the same time,the thesis emphasizes on my work: expatiating what kinds of service has the call control system of softswitch, analysing how to work the call control system of softswitch based the framework of Q.931 protocol and discussing the state machine model and the timer mechanism, then researching how to analyse the number and locate the callee, with this understanding giving some proposers, it will bring steady income to the future telecom service.
