PWM (pulse width modulation) communication technology has high quality to cost ratio and has great advantages when be applied to production parameter transmission on site. Meanwhile the distribution frame has open, neat and feasible characteristic. Therefore, it is necessary and practicable to develop distribution equipment parameter monitoring system based on PWM communication technology. The basic theory and principles of PWM communication technology are proposed in the paper. In order to facilitate future design of such communication asystems, transmission protocol and many methods to improve the performance and efficiency of the system are also discussed here. Time sequence and spectrum expression of PWM signal are derived and given. The results are used to predict frequency range and performance of the system. Develop the communication protocol to achieve information transmission between singlechip on site, singlechip located middle step and PC computer. In the end, a simple but functional experimental platform about distribution monitoring system based on PWM communication is designed and established to test the PWM communication technology and its related theories. During the experiments, many problems are found and solved. The analysis on the data and signal waveform demonstrated the PWM communication technology and designed system are reliable and efficient. All research is done to prepare for application this system into site manufacture monitoring. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | PWM, singlechip, DCS, error control, parameter optimization, communication protocol, spectral analysis, principal and subordinate, serial port | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
