The Realization Of Call Server In Softswitch System

With the rapid development of network technology and digital communications technology , telecommunication network , digital communications network,as well as internet are permeating and merging mutually.Regard the existing network resources as the foundation, bear the multip le business through introducing independent network equipment and open technical standard, realize traditional network and NGN business interactive operating, transit to the next-generation networks(NGN ) fluently with softswitch as the core technalogy, regard synthesize and the open network framework as the characteristic, offer many kinds of integrated service, such as p ronunciation, data and video, etc.Introduces characteristic and function structure of NGN and softswitch briefly.Softswitch is one of the crucial technologies of NGN.It can perform functions of traditional switches such as control,connection and handling of traffic with software.Softswitch makes it easier and faster for NGN to realize all kinds of complicated protocols as well as provide services.In this thesis,the architecture of softswith is minutely dissected in order to arrive at the advantage of softswith over traditional circuit-switch.By researching the contrast of SIP and H.323 protocol,we draw a conclusion that SIP protocol has more functions and growth potential.More over,mobile softswith technology and its application are elaborated and researched in this paper.In the mobile communication network of the future,the traditional MSC will be divided into MSC-Call-Server and MSC-Gateway.It can provide mobile voice service,data service and multiple third-party service.Based on the analysis of it,a call control model which can support both mobile services and multimedia services is proposed,the characters and structure of this call control model are analyzed and also made a comparison with the existing call control model.This model is independent of concrete peotocol and support open service control interface.It is able to satisfy the need for multiple media and mobile service.This model has a significant capability of expansion.
