The Research Of Legal Newspapers' Situation In China

Legal news has a long history in China, while legal newspapers appeared after the Third Plenum of the 11th, about 20 years old. And they were established with the development of democracy and the rule of the law. Since the Legal Daily (another name China's Rule of the Law) established on August 1st, 1980, legal news has developed rapidly, and become an important part of news. Legal newspapers have become important parts of legal news communication.Among the legal newspapers, central legal industry newspapers are the most typical, including the Legal Daily, the People's Police, the Procuratorate Daily and the People's Court, and so on. 20 years' distinctive practice has formed a set of rule about legal newspapers.Among the legal newspapers, the Procuratorate Daily is one of the successful and characteristic newspapers. It was established on July 4th, 1991, as the organ of The Supreme People's Procuratorate. Although it only has 17 years' history, it developed rapidly and formed its own feature, representing the high level of the legal newspapers.The thesis is based on the author's experience working for the Procuratorate Daily, and plenty of data and cases that the author gathered. The whole situation of legal newspapers will be learn through the Procuratorate Daily. In the thesis legal newspapers' tenet, location, character, effect and strategy will be summarized in theory; the advantage and disadvantage of legal newspapers in severe competitions with other newspapers will be analyzed; the feasible strategies to cater to the development of time and improve the ability to compete will be discussed. The thesis may provide true and referential research for the development of legal newspapers.
