| SMT Assembler is the common equipment in electronics manufacturing industry, using computer control technology as its core technology, and the key part of computer control technology is motion control system. While foreign developed countries has nearly monopoly the core technology, researching and designing levels on it in China is far behind.After deep researching on the Quad QSP-2 SMT assembler, and taking our local conditions into condideration, a self-designed motion control system of SMT assembler has been designed and implemented on the basis of detailed analysis of motion control theories and system constructions.Outlines of the renovation plan includes: (1) Retaining the Quad QSP-2 SMT assembler's mechanical frames; (2) Changing the outmoded hardware of motion control system; (3) Developing the bottom drivers of the motion control system on the new hardware platform.For more details, works have been done as follows:1. Independent innovation of motion control system's hardware parts has been done, including servo motor- amplifier system, central control system, positioning system and protecting system.2. After setting experiment-based operation parameters of servo motors, the driver circuits of X/Y axes and servo amplifier of Z axis have been designed.3. Combining with IPC and googletech GT400SV motion control card, the central control system has been designed to realize all the motions of three axes.4. Using the RSF MS44 open linear encoder as position detector, the positioning system has been setup to realize full-closed-loop positioning function.5. The bottom drivers of SMT motion control system was programmed to realize the mounting motion of the SMT head in full-closed-loop mode. 6. A digital PID controller with velocity- acceleration feedforward compensation has been designed. After the processes of data collecting, analyzing and researching, this motion control system with three axes of SMT assembler is proved able to reach a high accuracy and velocity.This thesis detailed records the implementation process of the renovation plan, including discussion of difficulties encountered and solutions figured out, empirical analysis of success and failure, which lays a solid foundation for further researches. |
