| In modern society, strengthening enterprise management is an imperative strategy to remain invincible in the wave of market economy. As enterprise management's critical point is the construction of enterprise informatization, enterprise resource planning(ERP), which is the combination of information technology and management theory, thus has been the top-priority choice leading to enterprise's scientific management and further success. The core of ERP system is the Master Production Schedule(MPS), not only the tool of production sectors but also the bridge connecting sales and procurement departments, plays a master role in ERP system.In the preface, this paper makes a research toward the current situation of foundry enterprisesin the world, aiming at the present problems, points out the necessity of implementing ERP system and constructing enterprise informatization. In the theory part, the planning system of the modern enterprises, and the position and usage of the MPS in that system is studied. The basic theory and developing principle of MPS, and its relation with other modules in the ERP system is discussed in detail.In the demand analysis part, specifically analyzes the operation flow and information flow in MPS relevant sectors, then illustrates them with graphics. In addition, according to enterprise's actual situation integrated with MPS theory, works out MPS logic flow.In the detailed design part, we select SQL SERVER 2000 as the database platform and the latest PowerBuilder version-PowerBuilder11.5 as the development tool. Based on the requirement analysis, order-driven and capability-balance principle, the algorithm of MPS is designed; The database is designed to decrease data complexity and improve running effectivity of the system; The software interface is style unified and easy to operate.In the application part, this paper takes the mechanical and electrical equipment manufacturing installation division of Shanxi Zhongtiaoshan Nonferrous Metals Group Co. Ltd for example to demonstrate MPS's specific implementation instance. |
