Wireless mesh network(WMN)is a kind of dynamic self-organize and self-configure wireless network, with the characteristics of flexible architecture, easy maintenance, robustness, reliable service coverage, therefore it has been one of the focus of research community. Real testbed is an important method for studying WMN. In this thesis, we design and implement a WMN testbed, and study the implementation of the measurement function in detail.In this thesis, we firstly present the architecture and characteristics of WMN, and then introduce the methods for studying WMN and compare the methods. Secondly, we present the objective, design principles, scheme and implementation of the testbed. Thirdly, we introduce the measurement tools and illustrate the implementation of various measurement functions. Finally, we discuss the description of an experiment and explain the validity of the testbed in the performance study of WMN through experiments. |
