As a result of the fast increment of web and Internet, there are great number of software and hardware resources emerge into the network, which aggravate the use of the network and the complexity of maintenance. Therefore, distributed system is needed new demand. This is a hot point that is being researched now, such as how to improve the way of service according to network environment, utilize resource better, and make the software service more convenience and flexible.JINI is a distributed network architecture which can self-diagnosis, self-deploy, and Jini is compared to other service, it has much stronger capability. Jini allow service join in the system or leave the system dynamically. Moreover, JINI is a distributed computing architecture which is unrelated to the protocol, and it can communicate with any distributed object through any protocol.This thesis start from analyse distributed architecture based on service, then contrast and analyse current popular distributed implement technology based on service, such as CORBA, DCOM, JAVA/RMI. Through researching JINI technology deeply, analyse JINI architecture's superiority and deficiency and future prospects.This thesis combined social insurance network audit's subsystem "Date Collection Subsystem" to research the distributed system's practise. Firstly, analyse how to conceive JINI service architecture, then base on the analysis and research, the author developed a service based on JINI technology which can browse remote file server's files, and download the files. The author also developed a simple graphical client browser, which join in the network to find and visit service. Construct a simple distributed data collection subsystem, which can visit remote files and download what they want.
