| As the most popular network technology, IPv6 is becoming more and more concerned. Because its higher ability of address coding, simpler header format and more reliable security, IPv6 makes up for many shortcomings of IPv4. But ipv6 is not so popular like ipv4 at this time, as for personal users, the research is just in theory. For further research, it needs to build IPv6 network system, so as to analyze data pack and the topology.This IPv6 lab system bases on Samsung S3C2410 embedded processor, includes wired IP network, wireless IP network and Bluetooth network, that makes it support and simulate more complicated network. The main function of IPv6 lab system is sniffing and analyzing the data pack through the network, so that users could know the status of the network, the topology structures and the quality of IPv6 network communication, so as to understand the IPv6 network better. The embedded technology makes the lab system has smaller cubage and lower power consume, and these advantages become more obvious when building complicated network with many lab systems.The core technology and difficulty in this system is the software, which should work long time stably and have lower price. So Linux operation system and some open source software are preferred, which is free and convenient of us to modify the source code to customize the operation system and the application software. As to hardware, common chips are chose to make the system easy to maintain and cheaper. The circuit and program code given in the thesis are debugged and certified, and the lab system is already tested and used, which can meet the requirement and the target. |
