In this paper the development of the optical generation of millimeter wave signals is introduced. We compare the ways of optical generation of millimeter wave signals and use an optical phase-locked loop, millimeter-wave signals generated at up to 70GHz frequencies . By heterodyning the output of two extended-cavity semiconductor lasers. Built a one of a laser electro-optic crystal to control the laser generated laser frequency. With a portable spectrum analyzer to replace the vibration oscillators and mixers, so do not add any circumstances converters tunable frequency range at 5GHz to 50GHz. Harmonic mixer with external circumstances, millimeter wave generated by the frequency can reach 70GHz.
