Along with the rapid development of oil industry at home and abroad, China's oil drilling and related technology has also gradually improved. The development of wells maintenance technology, as an indispensable component of the oil well technology, is of important significance. The design of multilateral wells guiding mechanism is an innovation of wells maintenance. How to adapt to the needs of the rapid development of wells maintenance, blaze new trails and improve production efficiency of enterprise are the important issues the of the wells enterprise. With the application of computer technology and the increasing development of information level, developing professional software which is suitable to the business needs, getting rid of the tedious repetitive work of designers and focusing on design innovation become an inevitable trend.Having a deep study on theories, with reference to the project actuality, the author designs multilateral wells guiding mechanism. The author also applies the parametric design technology, finite element theory and computer-aided engineering approach to wells maintenance. It is helpful to the development of enterprise's professional software. The main thesis work as follows:(1) According to project practice, the author analyses the existing engineering problem, and designs branch wells guiding mechanism, so solves the key technique problems in the design of multilateral wells and achieves the desired function.(2) The author studies finite element theory and computer-aided engineering (CAE) analysis theory deeply, analysis the oil well casing systems as well as orientation agencies by using ANSYS software to ensure the reasonableness of the design and provide a reliable theoretic support for structure design.(3) The author studies parametric design theory, does a further attempt to the design of the multilateral wells guiding mechanism, establishes a scientific and rational mathematical model, and abstracts a practical, workable parametric equation which realizes parameters design of the oriented institutions parts and also can automatically generate the 3D model in SolidWorks.(4) A technology which engineering report can produce automatically by using advanced programming language and daily office software is put forward in the thesis. It realizes the aim of "what you see is what you get". The development and study of the multilateral wells guiding mechanism provide a successful case for the integrated enterprise software development. We believe that modern design method, with computer as carrier, will be used in every trade in the near future.
