| Ground Testing Equipment (GTE) based on USB and FPGA is an important part of the Meridian Space Weather Monitoring Project (Meridian Project), which belongs to National Key Scientific and Technological Infrastructure. The primary function of GTE is to test a variety of payloads carried by the sounding rockets. GTE can detect the payloads'work states in real time, store and manage data effectively and support the analysis for the engineers. The thesis studies GTE, which utilizes FPGA as the core and benefits from advanced USB bus technology, and integrates the function of Reading-from and Writing-to different buses into one whole.First, the background of this project and the global research of Ground Testing Equipment (GTE) are introduced. Based on this, the thesis analyzes the functional requirements of this project and brings forward the project's method and researching tasks. Then, the thesis discusses the device's general design in hardware and software, especially more details are given to the design and implementation of the circuit, the FPGA core and the USB module. The debugging and the results of simulating experiment are shown. Finally, a prospection about the development of the device in generalization and high speed is given. The research of GTE can help to complete the probing mission of Sounding Rocket successfully. It is of great importance to ensure the playloads'reliability, validity and safety. |
