In the modern range test, adopting multi-source information fusion technology is needed to ensure the accuracy of experimental results.This thesis studies about the image acquisition system for multi-sensor data fusion technology. The system consists of digital cameras, image acquisition and processing systems, video display system. This thesis completes the design of image acquisition and processing systems, and video display system. Field programmable logic devices-FPGA and AVR microcontroller are used as the core processing platform to complete digital image acquisition and processing of digital cameras' output. In order to facilitate later data processing, in image acquisition and processing process, the operation information is changed to chart, GPS time information is changed in form of bar code to integrate into the image. AVR Microcontroller mainly completes reception and demodulation of GPS's time, man-machine communication through detection of the keyboard. In the end, a data fusion algorithm that is suitable for the system is introduced in the paper.
