Research Of Multipath Routing In P2P Overlay Network

With the development of P2P(Peer-to-Peer) network in recent years, overlay network became one of the important issues in current multimedia research field. However, reliability of traditional single path routing is reduced because overlay network is changeable.To solute this problem, this paper introduces multi-path routing technique. Robustness of network can be increased by adding redundant communication paths. This paper analyses structures of P2P system, studies DHT route lookup technique, and conducts a deep research on overlay network of P2P and application layer protocol. According to the analysis on various multi-path routing algorithms and supernode selection protocols both home and abroad, this paper uses uncorrelation rules to route. Delay and bandwidth is chosen to be reference. This paper extends application layer protocol signaling to carry routing information.
