With the rapid development of GSM Cellular Radio Communication network,GSM voice business is developing rapidly. Before the profit model of 3G is not yet mature, the existing GSM networks is still a good network of bearing the voice service in the future. Traditional voice services will remain the means of the operator's key profit, and the good quality of voice will be more valueble to the customers. Therefore, how to improve the voice quality and enhance the detection of the quality of call link will be the most concerned indicators to the community operators. By related studying of the algorithm of PESQ and sinusoidal analysis, as well as the voice quality algorithm and network parameter test algorithm, it provided a feasible proposals for optimizing mobile communication system.1. The principle and testing method of voice quality assessment algorithm is researched. Based on the proposed analysis of the ITU-T's voice quality assessment algorithm, to understand the scope and degree of precision of the assessment algorithm.So we can selects the appropriate assessment methods.Because of the heavy workload of the subjective evaluation and the difficult development, it's not suitable for use in daily works, by the perceptual PESQ voice quality measurement methods, the voice quality assessment system can simulate the human ear's hearing processing, replace the human ear for listening, and gives the corresponding MOS values.2. The factors on network running that affect GSM voice quality analysis.According to different defects, it gives the corresponding engineering optimization ideas and solutions one by one.3. The function and structure of mobile network voice quality assessment system's dialing and measuring terminal device has been designed, and proposed the hardware's implemented programs; analyzing the selection and considered conditions of equipment's major chip; and the function modules of dialing and measuring terminal software has been divided and description.4. A simple test algorithm for voice quality-sinusoidal analysis algorithm is proposed, analysis the discrete sine sequence which received at the receiving end, determined whether include the sine wave,whether there are some phenomena of silence, interrupted and so on. This algorithm is simple, and suitable for the terminal. The way of combined the sinusoidal test algorithm and the PESQ algorithm can detailed distinguish the different types of voice-quality problems on voice network.
