The Design And Implement Of Bank's Performance Value Management System

Value management is a new type of modern commercial bank's management system. Which is different from non-financial enterprises, bank value management has its particularity and complexity, and it influences the banks in all aspects of operational and management activities. At present, commercial banks are rising the demand of value management because of the increasingly fierce market competition,they can not only be satisfied with the information systems that quickly handle businesses, but also require information systems that can explore laws of business activities from large amounts of data and refining critical information necessary for business management to enable banks to analyze the businesses operated themselves, as well as the overall market trend of related industries in order to make correct decisions, and ultimately turn decisions into profit through market competition.In order to meet the requirement of banks'value-based management in current situation,we independently designed and developed Cost Control and Performance Evaluation (PWES), the system is a system that facing the enterprise resource planning of banks and also is a management decision support system, using data mining theory and the RAROC value theory analysis method. This benefit analysis control system introduces the improved Activity Based Cost Method which brings forward the cost sharing model using transactions as the basic work unit,the PWES also divides various sectors of banking operations into "products, departments, agencies, employees, customers" five themes, in accordance with "divide data to layer, theme to sub-domain" principle to establish star like data warehouse model.Through the multi-dimensional data analysis, the system achieves the core object of benefit analysis and cost control.This article describes the design and implementation process of the performance evaluation system in detail, including needs analysis, outline design, detailed design and system testing.lt reveals a complete develope process of value management system, which provides good refrence when developing a value management system.We spended nine months to develop this system, now it's successfully completed, the system well meets the requirements suggested in requirement book and it has a lot of advantages such as stable,user-friendly,easy to operate.Since the deployment of PWES in our province,it strongly improved our bussiness and management.Relying on the data support and management tools provided by PWES our bank has gradually established a multi-faceted scientific evaluation system with customer,product, organization,staff,departments,completing the distribution mechanism of performance appraisal at the end,increasing the awareness of the cost-effectiveness at various levels'bank,promoting the management of enterprise resource planning, product benefit evaluation, differential pricing,enhance the performance value management, it also plays a supporting role in guiding business, innovating management tools too.
